Nancy Barret Dunn

Nancy Barret was the sister of Albany resident Thomas Barret and thus the daughter of Robert and Mary Martin Barret. She married and was identified in the will filed by her brother in 1788. She also may have been known as "Ann."

Her husband was Richard Dunn. In 1788, three of her children were living. (James, Marry, Sally)

Perhaps her husband was listed in the city directory in 1813 as a merchant under "Richard Dunn & Son, mer., 16 Court Street." Perhaps they were "English merchants."
