Maria De Ridder Vandenbergh

Maria De Ridder probably was born during the late 1730s. Without obvious origination information, our questions begin with her birth.

Probably in early 1760, she became the wife of Wynant W. Vandenbergh. At that time, she was identified as a spinster of Albany city and the groom as a gentleman of Albany. By 1774, five children had been christened in Albany but their names provide no clues to the parentage of their parents.

These Vandenberghs probably lived in Albany or its environs. However, we cannot say which Wynant was Maria's husband.

Without more definitive information on her later life and passing, we must move on from this Maria De Ridder Vandenbergh at this time.
