By 1750, she had become the wife of immigrant Matthias Kugler. By 1762, at least four of her children had been christened in Albany churches. She was an occasional baptism sponsor at the Dutch and English churches in Albany.
Anna Kugler lost her husband by February 1782 when she was named widow and administrator of the estate of baker "Mathias Coughlaer." That document stated that they were "of Albany."
She appears to have been the mother of Matthew Kugler - in 1790 an Albany householder and perhaps afterward a settler of Ohio. In 1790, she may have been accounted for in her son's first ward household. We seek information on her background and later life.
Sources: The life of Anna Kugler is CAP biography number 1161. This sketch is derived chiefly from family and community-based resources.
