Hendrickie Oothout Bogert

Hendrickie Oothout was born in September 1699. She was the daughter of Albany and Rensselaerswyck farmers Hendrick and Caatje Douw Oothout. Like many of her neighbors, Hendrickie was raised in both city and countryside homes.

In November 1725, she married carpenter Isaac Bogert at the Albany Dutch church. By 1741, the marriage had produced six children.

These Bogerts lived on Albany's Southside. In 1728, Hendrickie was bequeathed a share of her father's farm.

Hendrickie Oothout Bogert died in April 1764 and was buried from the Dutch church. Her husband survived until1770.
