Christina Starenberg/Sternburgh probably was born prior to 1740 in the Schoharie Valley. Perhaps she was baptized, the daughter of Lambert and Catharina Feller Starenberg, at the Schoharie Lutheran church in October 1732!
In 1768, she married surveyor Archibald Campbell. The marriage produced a number of children including a son, Archibald, who was baptized in 1778 at the Albany Dutch church. However, these Campbells were Presbyterians and lived on the Southside of Albany.
Christina Starenberg Campbell was named executrix and principal heir in the will of her husband filed in February 1793. Campbell died in April of that year. In 1796, Christina Campbell was involved in an Albany real property transaction on behalf of Campbell's estate.
