Maria Schuyler Cuyler

Maria Schuyler was born in April 1726. She was the daughter of Albany merchant Jeremiah and Susanna Bayeux Schuyler. She grew up in Albany and at her father's farm at the Flats.

In May 1745, she married Albany merchant Nicholas Cuyler at the Albany Dutch church. The marriage of this nineteen-year-old produced at least three children before her untimely death.

Maria Schuyler Cuyler was buried from the Albany church early in January 1750. She had not yet reached her twenty-fourth birthday. Her husband survived for several decades.
