Anna Vandenbergh Van Zandt
In November 1727, Anna was twenty-five when she married the somewhat older Albany native Gerrit Van Zandt at the Albany Dutch church. By 1747, eight children had been christened in the church where she was a pewholder and occasional baptism sponsor. However, between 1731 and 1755, at least five of their children were buried in the churchyard. One of her surviving daughters married the son of a Southside neighbor.
Gerrit Van Zandt was an Albany mainstay thru the 1760s. We seek information on the later life and passing of Anna Vandenbergh Van Zandt.
