THE ACTING DIRECTOR OF BRI AND THE BRI EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ARE WORKING TO REINSTATE STAFF AND WE HOPE TO BEGIN PROGRAM ACTIVITIES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Northeastern Fern Identifier
Description: Richard Mitchell, formerly a State Botanist at the New York State Museum, has developed a computerized identification aid to allow just about anyone to correctly identify ferns. Dr. Mitchell has completed this identifier, titled Northeastern Fern Identifier, and it is currently being sold at the New York State Museum Shop. Visit Publications and Shops for ordering or purchase information. (Please note that the published version of this program is not useable on most newer computers due to changes in video cards. It generally only runs on older computers that originally ran Windows98, Windows95/NT, or Windows 3.x. Due to this compatibility issue the CDs are being sold at a discounted price.) Published in 1998.
