The 2024 Capital District History Day Competition and Awards Ceremony will be held at the New York State Museum on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Registration Opens: Friday, December 1, 2023
Registration Closes: Wednesday, February 28, 2024
Payment Due: Wednesday, February 28, 2024
Submission for Papers, Documentaries, and Websites: Wednesday, February 28, 2024
Competition Date: Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the New York State Museum
Registration Fee
Please note there is a registration fee of $10.00 per student, regardless of individual or group submissions. Registration WILL NOT BE COMPLETE until the registration fee has been processed, so please review the following payment information carefully.
Payment Information
Payments must be made by Check or Money Order (sorry, no credit/debit cards/cash)
- Include students full name in the memo-line. If paying for multiple students, please attach a list including each students full-name.
- Note: If a student's school is paying for the registration fee, the student will need to select "pay by check" during the registration process. Please confirm with your teacher before registering to be sure your school is covering the cost of your registration.
