COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

All of the New York State Museum Courses have been created by our educational staff to provide insightful, educational and exciting learning opportunities to students from Preschool through their last year of high school. Museum instructors encourage participants to explore sensory-rich museum exhibits in ways that promote keen observation and independent thinking in their own formation of comparisons and conclusions. All classes and tours relate to the learning standards and nearly all include hands-on artifacts, replicas and reproductions.

Please review each of the course descriptions and select those that are appropriate for your particular group's age level and focus of interest.
