Prehistoric Wilderness Landscape
4,000 Years Ago get to know the prehistoric animals and plants that called the Adirondacks home and the geologic forces responsible for the landscape.

Wilderness in Transition
19th-century activities and events such as early mapping, logging and recreational activities

Contemporary Wilderness historic and modern mining, status of animal species, conservation, forces of nature and artist interpretations.
