Focus on Nature X is a juried exhibition of natural and cultural history illustration, organized by the Museum and featuring works from around the world. Artists depict biological, geological, archaeological, and botanical subjects using a wide range of media, from traditional watercolor to digital techniques.

Selection is based on the degree of technical skill, aesthetic qualities, originality, and scientific accuracy. Since 1988, this biennial exhibition has highlighted illustration as a means of communicating scientific and artistic observation. Focus on Nature X includes the work of 83 artists from 15 countries.
