Arctic Ungulates

Large mammals are usually easier to tell apart than small ones. This is true of caribou, which are obviously different than other hoofed mammals. However, there are four subspecies of caribou across North America, so artist Elizabeth McClelland had to pay special attention to the colors and antler patterns in her paintings.
