Northeast Natural History Conference XI

NORTHEAST NATURAL HISTORY CONFERENCE XI HAS BEEN CANCELED.
PLEASE CHECK THIS SITE FOR UPDATES ON THE CONFERENCE AND THE BIODIVERSITY RESEARCH INSTITUTE.

Join us for the eleventh Northeast Natural History Conference, which will be held at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, NY on April 12–13, 2010. This conference is a forum for researchers to present current information on the varied aspects of natural history for the Northeastern United States and adjacent Canada. In addition to updating colleagues on current research, the Northeast Natural History Conference can serve as a forum to identify research needs, foster friendships, and rekindle interest in natural history by bringing people with diverse backgrounds together.

Conference Updates

  • Expanded Conference Venue for 2010. In response to feedback from participants at our last conference, we have added significantly more meeting space for next year's conference. More info...
  • Record Attendance at NENHC 2008! Over 700 people registered and attended the last Northeast Natural History Conference, with 172 oral presentations and 80 poster presentations. Both were new records for total attendance and number of presentations. Since NENHC VIII (2004), attendance has more than doubled. Please join us next year and help to make the upcoming Northeast Natural History Conference the most successful event yet!
