Meta-torbernite was identified by Raman spectroscopy from a sample collected from the Pit # 4, Mayfield pegmatite, Mayfield, Fulton County. It is associated with meta-autunite and occurs as bright green tiny flakes along the microcline cleavages and fractures. This is the second occurrence of meta-torbernite in New York.
