NYS MUSEUM TO CLOSE SUNDAY MARCH 13TH

Albany, New York -- 3/9/2005

The New York State Museum will be closed to the public on Sunday, March 13th to allow for testing of the Emergency Power System in the Cultural Education Center building.

The Museum will reopen Monday, March 14th at 9:30 a.m.

The State Museum is a cultural program of the New York State Department of Education. Started in 1836, the museum has the nation’s longest continuously operating state natural history research and collection survey. The museum is located on Madison Avenue in Albany.
