NYS MUSEUM TO CLOSE SUNDAY MARCH 12TH

ALBANY, NY – The New York State Museum will be closed to the public on Sunday, March 12th to allow for testing of the emergency lighting system in the Cultural Education Center building.

            The Museum will reopen Monday, March 13th at 9:30 a.m.

            The New York State Museum is a cultural program of the New York State Education Department.  It is located on Madison Avenue in Albany. It is generally open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission is free.
