NYS MUSEUM TO CLOSE SEPTEMBER 16TH

ALBANY, NY – The New York State Museum will be closed to the public on Saturday, September 16th to allow for major electrical repairs and testing of the emergency power system.

            The Museum will reopen Sunday, September 17th at 9:30 a.m.

            The New York State Museum is a cultural program of the New York State Education Department.  It is located on Madison Avenue in Albany. It is generally open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission is free.
