Learn about the fascinating field of archaeology. Meet archaeologists from the New York State Museum and Hartgen Archaeological Associates and observe a real dig in action. This event includes a demonstration of ground-imaging radar and other archaeology techniques and tools. Free hands-on activities exploring the historic grounds of the Ten Broeck Mansion and map-making will be available. Masks are not required but are highly recommended for visitors and non-staff.
