Join us for a daytrip to wineries along the Shawangunk Wine Trail. The cost of the trip — $55 per person — includes transportation in a chauffeured van to five or more wineries, a picnic lunch, and bottled water. A portion of the fee will help support public programs at the New York State Museum.

Participants can taste different varieties of wine and learn about the wine-making process. At each stop, you have the opportunity to choose five-six wines from a broad selection of what the winery makes. The tasting will cost $5-7, or very occasionally $8, at each winery. There's also the opportunity to just watch, talk, learn, take photos, buy a bottle of wine to take home, or relax and enjoy the ride and the beauty of the region.

Join us for private tours of Clermont and Mills Mansion, two of the Hudson Valley's great historic places. There's nothing that adds to the holiday spirit like an historic mansion decorated in all its greens and splendor for the holiday season! The day trip includes a two-hour, mid-day stop in Rhinebeck to eat lunch, shop, and explore. You're sure to enjoy the festive feeling in this quaint and charming town!

The cost of the day trip is $56/person, based on 10 people traveling, and includes:

• • Private van transportation to and from Albany, departing at 8:30 a.m. and returning by 6 p.m.

Members of the New York State Museum enjoy a 10 percent discount.
