Fun for the Whole Family

Come to the Museum for fun activities and educational programs especially for families!

Family Fun Weekend offers fun learning for every age. The Museum plans special happenings all related to one theme, such as Native People of New York, Dutch Albany, and Coelophysis: One of New York’s Dinosaurs. Families can participate in a “make-and-take” craft activity or a game, and take home an informational packet filled with more exciting things to do. In addition, each Family Fun Weekend offers enjoyable programs, often involving music, dancing, story telling, and live animal shows.
