Home to picturesque farms and expanding vineyards; the rolling hills, expansive lakes, and waterfalls of the Finger Lakes Region are considered to be an iconic landscape in central upstate New York. Long recognized as product of glaciation, little information has been available to gauge the origins and age of this landscape. Join Museum scientist and geologist, Andrew Kozlowski as he summarizes new chronologic data on landforms and deposits that provide a context on the origin and antiquity of the Finger Lakes.

This program includes a 20 minute talk and Andrew will be happy to answer any questions following the presentation. Participants are welcomed to bring their lunches.
