Music with Deb Cavanaugh: Wild and Free at the New York State Museum

11 am
Adirondack Hall
Free

Come enjoy singing and dancing with wild abandon while learning about American musical culture. See a crankie and a limberjack in action and listen to the mountain dulcimer and banjo, all of which come from the Appalachian Mountains of the United States. Dance with scarves and colored ribbons. Play egg shakers and other percussion instruments while we sing traditional folk songs and some of Deb’s originals, including one she wrote especially for the Museum. This is fun for all ages!
