Admission:
$5 each day - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cash only.
9:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Children ages 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult.

One of upstate New York’s most anticipated events, New York in Bloom is an annual fund-raiser for the Museum’s educational programs for children. Garden club members, professional designers, interior designers and floral enthusiasts from the Capital District and beyond will create over one hundred unique floral arrangements that complement and interpret the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions.

If you are interested in volunteering for this event, or would like additional information on volunteer opportunities at the New York State Museum, please send an email to bmalloy@mail.nysed.gov. Everyone is welcomed to participate!

FREE parking next to the Museum and at East Parking Garage on Saturday and Sunday only. Additional parking available at Empire State Plaza V-lot (P-3 North).

Dazzle your friends by creating a colorful chenille flower ring with Museum art instructor Peggy Steinbach.

Join Hatti Langsford in the Museum Lab for an exploration of plants, seeds and flower insides under the microscope!
