Programs :: 21st Annual New York in Bloom
February 24 through February 26, 2012

As a fund-raiser for the Museum’s nationally recognized after-school program, New York in Bloom features unique arrangements designed by floral designers, garden club members and flower enthusiasts. It also offers a variety of demonstrations and family fun.

For 25 years, the Museum Club and Discovery Squad have helped 5,000 Albany city students, ages 8 to 18, gain academic support and mentoring to improve school performance. Additional activities include career guidance, exploring the museum’s extensive collections and working with world-renowned scientists. All of these experiences promote a greater sense of self, appreciation for education and a path for life long learning and success.
