The Origin of Life on Earth

Every year, scientists get closer to understanding how life could have evolved on the early Earth.  This lecture explains when in geologic history life likely arose. It outlines the steps that would have been necessary and describes experiments replicating those steps.  Finally, it assesses possible environments where this process may have taken place.
