Join Dr. Bernard K. Means of the Virtual Curation Laboratory at Virginia Commonwealth University as he discusses 3D scanning and 3D printing of artifacts from all over the world. These artifacts include some found in Albany, as well as from important historical sites, such as George Washington's Mount Vernon, Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest, and James Madison's Montpelier.  3D scanning and 3D printing of archaeological collections is moving museums of today into an exciting new future.
