The Museum’s 25th annual summer camp presents diverse approaches to learning in the creative environment of a museum. Educators, scientists, historians, artists, and counselors work together to provide campers with fun, educational activities. Each day, campers explore the Museum through Time Tunnel themes, play games outdoors, use the computer lab, and swim at the Lincoln Park Pool.

Session 1:   Where Are They Now? Extinct & De-funked! (July 2-3, 5-6 & July 9-13)
From dinosaurs to dodo’s, to long-lost languages, fossils, and outdated gizmos and gadgets, join Museum staff as we explore things that have disappeared!

Session 2:   The Glory of Stories! (July 16-27)
People love to tell and listen to stories. Join us as we explore the Museum for stories from different times and places. Campers will share their own stories and photos as we explore some unusual destinations in and around New York.

Session 3:   Greatest Hits! The Best of Time Tunnel’s 25 Years! (July 30-August 10)
Time Tunnel is 25 years old this summer, so we will revisit some of our most popular programs from a quarter century of camp! Help us create a Time Tunnel Time Capsule for our 25th Anniversary and get your dancing shoes on as we close out the session with a Time Tunnel Dance Party!

Time Tunnel is designed for kids entering 1st through 8th grades.

SUPER STAFF!
Time Tunnel staff and counselors are experienced teachers or outstanding college students. They are knowledgeable in science, the arts, sports, and recreation. Waterfront staff is certified to supervise the swimming program. The staff works with children and parents to accommodate special needs.

Time Tunnel meets weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Camp is designed in two-week thematic sessions, but you may register for one week.

EACH SESSION (2 weeks)
$400 per child if postmarked by May 4th
$450 per child postmarked by June 1st

ALL THREE SESSIONS
$1100 if postmarked May 4th—a savings of $100!
$1350 if postmarked by June 1st

ONE WEEK
$200 per child if postmarked by May 4th
$225 per week if postmarked by June 1st

Current Museum Members may deduct $25 per child per session. No new or renewal memberships are available at this time.

Time Tunnel Extra provides supervision from 8–9 a.m. and/or 4–5 p.m. and is $100 for either the morning or afternoon session (two weeks), or $200 for both.

Advance registration is required. Registration cancellations received on or before June 1st will be refunded less $50 per child per session. Registration fees are non-refundable after June 1st.
