TrailTripTip: To find monument NY27, follow Hudson Street (County Road 21) to State Route 66. This is a series of complex turns heading in a southeasterly direction toward the Hamlet of Ghent. If you get lost, ask directions to Ghent, then head south on Route 66. Watch for monument on right about two miles southwest of Ghent on Route 66 at Snyder Road intersection.

Context: This marks a turning of the old road to the east side of the Kinderhook Creek.
