Extinct Bird Collection (Mounted Specimens)

The New York State Museum has an excellant collection of mounted bird specimens. The Collection includes extinct species such as the Labrador Duck (male and female), Passenger Pigeon, Ivory-billed Woodpecker, Eskimo Curlew, and Carolina Parakeet.

Museum Open Tuesday-Sunday: 9:30 am to 5 pm | Carousel Hours: 10 am to 4:30 pm
