12:10 PM –12:30 PM (followed by brief Q & A period)
Huxley Theater

A basic understanding of the taxonomic classification and evolutionary history of any species is a critical component to broader biological and conservation-based studies. Join Curator of Fishes Dr. Jeremy Wright as he discusses his current research to unravel the complex taxonomic and systematic history of the Bowfin, a primitive fish found throughout New York and the Eastern United States.

This program includes a 20 minute talk and Dr. Wright will be happy to answer any questions following the presentation. Participants are welcomed to bring their lunches.
