Bring your family and join us on Thursday, October 12 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. for a fun and engaging teacher information night. 

This free program is offered by the staff of the New York State Museum, State Archives, and Public Broadcasting Office at the Cultural Education Center in Albany, NY. The program is designed to aid educators in teaching the history of New York State, while providing an engaging educational experience for your family.

Teachers will learn about New York State history on guided tours, engage with historians, and learn about the educational resources & CTLE workshops available to them at the Cultural Education Center, including the State Museum, State Library, State Archives, and Public Broadcasting Office, and how to utilize these resources in their classrooms. Your family can also enjoy our hands-on teaching collection and programming. 

*Note: The New York State Museum is an approved provider of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE). If you are employed in a New York State school, your employing district approves all professional development activities to accrue towards your continuing professional development requirement. 

Eligibility: Teachers, librarians, educational staff
Teacher CTLE Credit: Up to 2.5 CTLE hours
