Publications

A critical component of scientific and historical inquiry is publication of research results. The New York State Museum has published research results since its origination as the New York State Geological and Natural History Survey in 1836. Three of our series are currently available free on-line. Individual volumes of the New York State Museum Bulletin, Record, and Cultural Resources Survey series can be accessed for downloads as pdf files by clicking on the links below.
