| Abstract | A new and unusual edrioasteroid, Totiglobus nimius n. gen., n. sp., from the Middle Cambrian Chisholm Shale, eastern Nevada, is the earliest representative of the order Edrioasterida. Totiglobus has a fully plated aboral surface which suggests this is a primitive trait within the class. It has a large basal discoidal structure which was probably used for attachment. |
