The Archives Partnership Trust is excited to announce the launch of Consider the Source New York (CTSNY). The new online educator resource delivers over 2,000 primary sources, learning activities and tools for educators and students throughout the state. CTSNY provides a single platform for access to training on using historical records, inquiry-based learning activities, a repository of primary sources, and a place for teachers to create and share their own primary source-based lessons. Resources continue to be added weekly.
CTSNY would not be possible without the assistance of our New York Council for History Education network of educators, historians, and librarians for taking the time to test this new resource. Their input made the website even more accessible for educators and students. Thank you to the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation and all our Trust supporters for financial contrubitions to advance this project. Teachers are excited to begin using this new resource and share these valuable historical records with their students. Read more...
