Fulton County Historical Society to go Virtual in 2020

We hope that you and your families are safe and comfortable during this difficult time. As we continue to navigate this public health crisis, the Fulton County Historical Society is prioritizing the safety of its visitors, staff, and volunteers. In the interest of maintaining public health and to help combat COVID-19, we have decided to reach out to our visitors virtually in 2020, rather than welcoming them at the museum. Our site will not be open to the public for the 2020 season.
Though we are deeply disappointed that we cannot offer an in-person museum experience this season, we hope that this decision will ultimately benefit members, visitors, and staff.
We are already at work developing virtual experiences through the end of 2020. Many of our currently scheduled programs will be re-envisioned as virtual events. Online lectures and exhibits, behind the scenes tours, at-home lesson plans, and more will be available on our website and on Facebook. While visitors may not be able to come to the FCHS this season, the FCHS will come to them in new and exciting ways.
As always, we are deeply grateful for the continued support of our members and our community. We're enthusiastic about connecting with you virtually this year, and are looking forward to welcoming you back to the museum in the near future!
