Pomeroy Foundation Announces Sullivan-Clinton Campaign Marker Program

COMMEMORATE THE 250TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR 1779 SULLIVAN-CLINTON CAMPAIGN WITH HISTORIC ROADSIDE MARKERS THROUGH 2029
The Empire State Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (ESSSAR) invites your organization to help commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War Sullivan-Clinton Campaign of 1779 by applying for a specially designed historic marker. The Pomeroy Foundation will provide full funding for a marker, pole, and shipping. Applicants are responsible for installation. This is a multi-year program running until 2029.
Markers will commemorate the following:
- Sites of battles, skirmishes, and other events significant to the Campaign
- Individuals who had a significant influence on the Campaign
- Continental Army campground locations, Native American communities, and other sites associated with the Campaign
