On March 10th, an easement from Open Space Institute Land Trust to the United States government fr Tract 01-157, better known as the Saratoga Surrender Site, was recorded and finalized. David Fund, NPS Realty Specialist, included an instruction for the Saratoga NHP to begin managing the property under the terms of the easement immediately.

This is a huge accomplishment shared with teh Friends of Saratoga Battlefield, Saratoga National Historical Park, and Open Space Institute of NY. It is the culmination of 15 years of work and part of the reason that the Partnership was formed in the first place.
