Every Prison Is Attica: A Short Documentary Film by David Kuhn
Free
Join the New York State Museum for a special online screening of Every Prison Is Attica, a short documentary film directed and produced by David Kuhn in collaboration with the Correctional Association of New York (CANY), the only independent organization in New York with authority under state law to monitor prisons and report its findings to the legislature and the broader public.
Following the 16-minute film, a question-and-answer session will be led by New York State Museum Senior Historian Aaron Noble, curator of the Museum’s exhibit, Open Wounds: The 50-Year Legacy of the Attica Prison Uprising.
